Screen-Printing

  • 4 color process (CYMK screening with Plastsisol inks)
  • Simulated 4 color process (Don't worry we'll tell you if it is best for you)
  • Spot Color (Plastisol Ink ~ one screen per color)
  • Full Color Digital (CYMK waterbase inks- very soft hand)
  • Shirt & Tees from 6 months > 10X  (really)
  • Quality Range from Good Better, Best, Designer (Ping, Nike, Red House)
  • Oversize Screens available

Decoration in which Ink is forced through a screen to transfer an image onto a garment.

Most Commonly Decorated Item: Tee Shirts

PROS

  1. More Economical on large runs than Digital Printing
  2. Superior Printing on Dark colored Garments
  3. Produces Very Vivid Colors

Cons

  1. Multiple Colors Require Multipul Screens
  2. Set-up Time is greater often affecting turn around time.

Embroidery

  • Hats
  • Woven, Knit, & Polo Shirts (Huge selation of styles and price range)
  • Uniforms
  • COATS & Sweatshirts (Many Vendors sold here)
  • Various Fonts
  • Custom designs available 

Pros

  1. Use of thread, applied with a sewing neddle, to create an Image or Lettering
  2. Works Best with Heavier-weight garments
  3. Very Durable; Won't wear such as Screen printing or Digital printing
  4. Can Create inages with texture and depth

Cons

  1. Not good for extremly Lightweitht garments (will pucker fabric)
  2. Logo reproduction is not 100% accurate; cannot reproduce sharp edges or shades
  3. Can be expensive (file creation is really a special program developed)
    1. Cost is $1 per 1000 stiches
    2. setup costs can be from $50-$250 (Left chest ~ Full Back design)

 

Digital Printing

A Four Color Decoration Process that uses various ink cartridges to produce a CYMK Image using an environmentally friendly water based Inks.

PROS:

  1. Creates photo-realistic Images
  2. Good on short runs less than 100-200 pieces. (10-100 pieces is the best value for customer)
  3. Does not use screens so there are no extra charges for additional colors
  4. Quicker Setup times and turnaround times
  5. Artwork does not have to be as clean
  6. Reorders of shorter runs are possible at same or close pricing

Cons:

  1. Colors are not as vibrant as screen printing
  2. Much slower process than screen printing
  3. Must be 100% Cotton
    • Can go as low as 50%
    • but colors tend to run and be even more flat
    • will work on light color sweatshirts of the higher cotten content only
  4. Digital Printing is designed for white tees
  5. Depending on design some lighter colored tees can be used and can look awesome
